In particular, <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/ES\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX:32021R1060#:~:text=de%20las%20operaciones%3B-,j),garantizar%C3%A1,-la%20protecci%C3%B3n%20frente\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Article 73.2.j of the Common Provisions Regulation (EU) 2021\/1060<\/strong><\/a> establishes that projects must incorporate the so-called <em>climate proofing<\/em>, that is, a <strong>systematic process of analyzing their coherence with climate change mitigation and adaptation objectives<\/strong>, in line with the <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/strategy-and-policy\/priorities-2019-2024\/european-green-deal_es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European Green Deal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To respond to this requirement, the <strong>Economic Office of Galicia of IGAPE<\/strong> offers companies a <strong>specialized technical advisory and support service<\/strong>, to facilitate the preparation of that <em>climate proofing report<\/em> (climate change defense report) required by management authorities. Through this service, companies receive personalized support to <strong>draft a report adapted to their specific project<\/strong>, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory requirements and demonstrating their climate compatibility.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A report adapted to your project<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The support service of the Economic Office of Galicia is based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inega.gal\/sites\/default\/files\/IN421J\/250131_Gu%C3%ADa%20Climate%20Proofing_Galicia_1.1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Support Guide for the implementation of climate proofing of infrastructure<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, promoted by the Xunta de Galicia and aligned with the technical guidelines of the European Commission. The objective is to ensure that the infrastructure:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Minimizes greenhouse gas emissions (mitigation pillar)<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>Is resilient against present and future climate risks (adaptation pillar)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The report is prepared based on updated climate information (AdapteCCa, AEMET, MeteoGalicia, IPCC), technical project data, and official threat and risk maps (SNCZI, ARPSI, national catalog).
