The strategy, she explained, aims to strengthen the aerospace sector linked to defence and security, while attracting to this field companies from other strategic sectors in Galicia such as automotive, shipbuilding, metalworking and ICT.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">To achieve this, the Xunta has planned an investment of \u20ac183\u202fmillion and expects to mobilise over \u20ac900\u202fmillion by 2030 through three lines of action. The first focuses on creating a business ecosystem in which leading firms collaborate with smaller ones, helping them enter the sector through pre\u2011commercial public procurement, partnership agreements or the creation of consortia (\u20ac84\u202fmillion).<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Support is also foreseen for the incorporation or consolidation of companies already operating in the sector (covering innovation, exports, etc.), given that there are currently 140 dedicated to it and about 150 more in Galicia with potential to join (\u20ac34\u202fmillion). Finally, the strategy includes a line of support for investment in dual technologies (\u20ac65\u202fmillion), with a specific Xesgalicia fund of \u20ac40\u202fmillion. The goal is to attract 20 new companies to the sector, create more than 500 new jobs and boost sales by over 50%.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">As she announced, within the framework of this strategy, a specialised unit will be created within the Economic Office of Galicia to work with TEDAE \u2014 a key association that brings together more than a hundred Spanish technology industries operating in these three areas.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-2 mt-4 font-display font-semimedium text-base first:mt-0\">International Defence and Security Fair of Spain<\/h2>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">The International Defence and Security Fair of Spain (FEINDEF\u202f2025) features 601\u202fexhibitors \u2014\u202f187\u202fof them international\u202f\u2014 and 57\u202fcountries represented, along with more than a hundred accredited media outlets. The event took place from\u202f12\u202fto\u202f14\u202fMay\u202fat\u202fIfema\u202fin\u202fMadrid.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Galicia is strongly represented, with over twenty companies and technology centres from the aerospace, defence and security, shipbuilding, metal, automotive and ICT
