This represents a 20% increase compared to the previous year and translates into more resources to promote a new model of engagement with the Galician business sector, improving competitiveness, strengthening international presence, facilitating access to credit and the launch of new initiatives, and boosting investment attraction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Within this framework, the Economic Office of Galicia is expanding its budget to reach \u20ac6.8M, up 8.8% from 2024, seeking to offer Galician businesses \u201ca single, clear and defined channel for advice and support.\u201d With over 10,000 consultations handled to date, the Office is emerging as a new, more agile, closer and simpler way of interacting with the productive sector.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-2 mt-4 font-display font-semimedium text-base first:mt-0\">Commitment to competitiveness<\/h2>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">For 2025, the Institute is allocating over \u20ac33M to business competitiveness programmes, including the second edition of the Business Attraction Programme, with \u20ac12M for major projects that generate wealth and employment. In addition, \u20ac10M are earmarked for smaller-scale projects targeting Galician SMEs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Igape continues to support the dual digital and sustainable transformation, with nearly \u20ac5M devoted to various programmes: \u20ac3M for digital transformation projects, \u20ac1M for multidisciplinary workshops, and another \u20ac1M for sustainability initiatives prioritising ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) projects.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">As part of its commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation, Igape is launching a new edition of its specific support line for Galician startups, with an allocation of \u20ac1.5M, aimed at fostering the creation of new business models and jobs.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-2 mt-4 font-display font-semimedium text-base first:mt-0\">Artificial Intelligence and advanced technologies<\/h2>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">\u201cCompetitiveness drives business innovation,\u201d continued Toca Car\u00fas, highlighting Igape\u2019s commitment in this field, embodied in a new innovation area designed to \u201cpromote Galicia\u2019s business innovation ecosystem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">In this regard, new support lines will be launched to promote innovation management and product design, such as the programme \u201cTickets Innova 25\u201d, with \u20ac1M to facilitate access to innovation certification, and the \u201cIgape Innova\u201d line, with \u20ac4M for business innovation investment projects. Within this framework, Igape will allocate over \u20ac10M to the implementation of Artificial Intelligence technologies, and \u20ac2.3M to a new project to create collaborative data spaces next year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Igape will also continue to support Galicia\u2019s entrepreneurial ecosystem, with \u20ac7M allocated to its network of business factories, which in 2025 will expand with three new accelerators focused on Health and Well-being, the Sports Industry and Renewable Energies.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-2 mt-4 font-display font-semimedium text-base first:mt-0\">Record-breaking foreign sales<\/h2>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">The director of Igape underlined the Institute\u2019s commitment to supporting Galician companies\u2019 internationalisation, which has led to record export sales. Based on this, in 2025 Igape is allocating \u20ac14M to internationalisation, enabling continuity of programmes such as Galicia Exporta Empresas, Galicia Exporta Organismos Intermedios and Galicia Exporta Dixital. In addition, in collaboration with the Galician Chambers of Commerce, Igape will renew the Foexga Plan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">As part of its expansion strategy, in 2025 Igape will open new offices in key markets in Latin America and Asia, adding to the recently opened branches in Japan and the United Arab Emirates. These offices will provide direct support to Galician companies in emerging markets, offering specialised guidance.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-2 mt-4 font-display font-semimedium text-base first:mt-0\">45% increase in financing<\/h2>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">This broad range of measures is complemented by a significant budgetary allocation to facilitate SME and self-employed financing, amounting to \u20ac152M in 2025 \u2014 a 45.4% increase over the previous year. This increase will make it possible to implement new financial instruments in coordination with Xesgalicia funds, aimed at stimulating business spending and driving Galicia\u2019s economic growth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">The direct loan scheme stands out, with a \u20ac50M allocation for strategic projects that promote technological modernisation and have a multiplier impact on Galicia\u2019s economy. Moreover, a new interest subsidy line will be launched, with a \u20ac5M budget to subsidise up to \u20ac200M in loans for beneficiaries of financing from Xesgalicia or national public funds, improving financial conditions for Galician companies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Furthermore, the Just Transition Fund will have over \u20ac52M dedicated to financing investment projects in A Coru\u00f1a that generate employment and diversify the local economy, with partially repayable loans combining grants and credits: \u20ac37M for large companies and \u20ac14M for SMEs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">In addition, Igape is allocating \u20ac14M to continue agreements with financial institutions and mutual guarantee societies (SGRs), enabling \u20ac150M in financing for SMEs, easing access to credit and strengthening the solvency of
