Located in the Deza comarca, it has an exhibition ground of more than 400,000m² and 7 pavilions where fairs and exhibitions of different productive sectors are held. The main economic activities of this municipality are livestock farming, agriculture and forestry.
It also has a business park, called Área 33, with a surface area of almost 300,000m², located some 40 km from Santiago de Compostela and 60 km from Pontevedra.
