Lorenzana highlights the good health of the Galician shipbuilding industry, which accounts for nearly a third of national orders

The Regional Minister for Economy and Industry, María Jesús Lorenzana, today underlined the strong period the Galician shipbuilding sector is going through, with productive capacity utilisation already averaging around 80% and accounting for approximately one third of national orders. Lorenzana highlighted these figures at a working meeting held this afternoon in San Caetano with the managing director of Astilleros Freire, Marcos Freire. The Regional Minister took the opportunity to congratulate him on the new contract signed with the Swedish Armed Forces for the construction of four vessels destined for naval support missions.
