A group of around 40 second-year Bachillerato students from Colexio Maristas Cristo-Rei in A Coruña, specialising in Social Sciences with Economics, visited the facilities of the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (Igape) this week to learn about the work carried out by the Economic Office of Galicia in supporting the Galician business network.
During the day, the students were able to learn about the functions and services offered by this office, conceived as a space for comprehensive support and advice, facilitating the launch and growth of business projects in Galicia. Those responsible at Igape explained that the Economic Office represents a new way of engaging between the administration and the productive sector, based on proximity, administrative simplification and personalised support.
This activity forms part of an educational excursion which also included a visit to the Parliament of Galicia, aimed at bringing students closer to how public institutions work and highlighting their role in Galicia’s economic and social development.
