The Secretary General of Industry and Energy Development, Nicolás Vázquez, held a meeting today with representatives of the Seara Business Association and Cohempo, Association of merchants, hoteliers, and entrepreneurs from As Pontes. A meeting in which they agreed on the importance and necessity of supporting industrial development in Galicia, and specifically, in As Pontes.
This meeting is part of the constant and fluid communication that the Xunta and the business community of As Pontes are having to address the monitoring of industrial projects that are established or will be established in the region.
Nicolás Vázquez insisted that the Galician Government is incentivizing administrative streamlining and debureaucratization so that all initiatives can be implemented as soon as possible. In this regard, he highlighted the industrial project acceleration plan and the provision of free business land for the first eight years.
To this must be added the creation of the Economic Office of Galicia, which offers a centralized service for comprehensive advice to companies and which, since its launch in April, has already handled more than 7,000 requests.
