There she emphasised the importance of events like this one, which “connect professionals, administrations and companies and enable us to advance towards a more responsible industrial model better prepared to meet future challenges”.

During her speech, Aneiros took the opportunity to highlight the Galician Government’s extraordinary plan of measures on industrial safety, which focuses on raising awareness and promoting best practices, stressing the need to advance “not only in modernising the sector, but also in protecting people, businesses and the territory”, she said.

The territorial delegate had words of thanks for the College of Industrial Engineers of Galicia, whose willingness to collaborate with the regional administration she highlighted as “always essential to advance towards a safer, more innovative and more competitive industry”, she assured.

She concluded by acknowledging the work of the professionals, companies and organisations that took part in the congress and reiterating the Xunta’s commitment to promoting policies and initiatives that enhance the role of industry as an economic driver, a generator of employment and a guarantee of a future for the territory.
