Santiago de Compostela, 18 August 2026
The Ministry of Economy and Industry, through Igape, has just resolved the calls for the IA360, Igape Innova and Ticket Innova programmes, which will make it possible to grant nearly 15 million euros (14.79 million euros) in direct aid for business innovation to more than 500 companies in the region (539).
Taken together, these three lines constitute a comprehensive offer of support for innovation by Galician companies, accompanying them from the early phases of project definition to the development of new products, processes and services and the incorporation of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
The calls form part of the Galician Innovation Strategy 2026–2028, which will reinforce innovation as one of the pillars of the Xunta’s industrial policy to boost productivity, competitiveness and economic growth. The high budgetary execution also confirms the growing commitment of Galician companies to innovation and technological transformation.
Support adapted to all phases of innovation
The three programmes respond to different needs of companies and make up a complete itinerary of support for innovation.
Ticket Innova facilitates SMEs’ access to specialised innovation services, such as technological feasibility studies, technological monitoring, industrial design, protection of industrial property, digital transformation, artificial intelligence or cybersecurity, among others. In this call, 66 grants were awarded, amounting to 1 million euros.
Igape Innova supports projects aimed at the development of new products, processes and services, the incorporation of new technologies and the improvement of business competitiveness. In this call, grants amounting to 3.97 million euros were awarded, which will benefit 40 projects.
Meanwhile, IA360 drives the incorporation of artificial intelligence in companies, both through the development of new technological solutions and through the implementation of tools already available on the market. In this call, 97 projects will be supported, with a public investment of 10 million euros, distributed among 43 technological development projects and 54 projects for the implementation of AI solutions. The redistribution of funding has made it possible to increase the number of projects financed under the technological development modality.
Innovation to gain competitiveness
With these calls, Igape consolidates a range of instruments that accompany companies throughout the entire innovation process, from the definition of their strategies to technological development and the implementation of advanced solutions.
This commitment is framed within the Galician Innovation Strategy 2026–2028, which will reinforce the coordination of public innovation policies and collaboration between companies, universities and technology centres to consolidate a more innovative, competitive and value-generating business base.
