The Xunta’s territorial delegate in Pontevedra, Agustín Reguera, this morning visited the Camballón Industrial Estate in the municipality of Vila de Cruces, on the occasion of the Xunta grants aimed at developing and improving infrastructure in Galician business parks.
Reguera inspected the outcome of the works to upgrade the collectors discharging into the municipal sanitation network, which enable better treatment of water and reduce the risk of leaks. This is one of 10 actions to be carried out in the province of Pontevedra under this line of grants and, in the case of Vila de Cruces, it has Xunta funding of nearly €117,000.
In the Deza-Tabeirós region, in addition to the aforementioned action in the Camballón Industrial Estate, the municipalities of Silleda and Agolada have also benefited from these grants, which they will use to improve the roads in the Áreas 33 business park (€110,390) and the Merlín industrial estate (€118,983), respectively.
It is worth noting that this line of grants will leave nearly €780,000 in the province overall. In this regard, Agustín Reguera wished to highlight “the Xunta’s commitment to the Galician business sector and the intention to continue working to enhance the competitiveness and productivity of our businesses”.
