Can delivery note and payment management be kept separate from invoicing?

Yes, the VERI*FACTU regulation only affects invoicing processes, it does not require modifying the way you manage delivery notes, deliveries or collections.
However:

• If your software integrates delivery notes, orders and invoicing, you must ensure that the final invoice issuance part is governed by the required technical criteria (registration, signature, traceability…).

• The payment control or bank reconciliation part is not affected by VERI*FACTU.

It is perfectly valid to maintain separate systems or modules for delivery notes, collections and invoicing, as long as the invoicing part complies with the regulation.
