The executive summary is a two or three page synthesis that covers the most attractive and critical points of the project, while the business plan is the detailed document that supports it. The summary is the “gateway” for an investor; if this section does not capture their attention within a few minutes, it is very likely that they will not go on to read the rest of the technical and financial analysis.
